How Forward Deployed Engineering Works
With MCIS, the software runs entirely in AWS accounts you own and fully control. MetaLark’s engineers work inside that environment only with your permission: to deploy and configure MCIS, to apply new releases and to diagnose and resolve issues. Access is provisioned on an as-needed basis and only for a set period of time. Typical access windows:

You grant MetaLark’s technical team initial access to deploy and configure MCIS in your AWS account.

Routine Maintenance
A short monthly window for MetaLark engineers to perform routine maintenance on your MCIS instances.

Updates & Credits
When new MCIS releases are available, or you buy content processing credits, MetaLark applies them for you.
If a problem arises, you can grant temporary access to your MCIS instances so MetaLark engineers can diagnose and resolve it directly. The result is hands-on expert support without giving up ownership of the environment or the data inside it.

Buy content processing credits only when you need them. Credits are consumed transactionally, with discounts by volume.
No MetaLark Hosting Charges
MCIS runs in your own AWS account. Pay your cloud provider directly for servers & bandwidth, and control your own AI token usage.
No MetaLark User License Fees
MCIS connects to your own AI services & agents, so there are no user or seat fees. You manage secure access & permissions to parsed content with your own enterprise Access Control Lists.
This gives finance and IT teams clear visibility into costs, and lets organizations scale MCIS up or down on their own terms.
