The common challenges MetaLark can solve:
What is the Content Actually About?
You need to know what concepts your current content is actually addressing, and where your metadata is weak.
Where are Specific Concepts covered?
You need to know where various concepts are covered, down to the specific items and where in the content they are referenced.
Which skills are we currently teaching?
You need to know which skills your current content is actually covering, and it isn’t clear from the title or description.
Content Audits & Search
Helps teams determine what’s out there, what’s useful, what’s redundant and what needs to get refreshed. MetaLark also makes pinpoint search interrogation possible, helping isolate exactly where words/phrases are used or may need replacing (e.g., “Find every instance of DEI in our content library.”)
Skills Mapping & Inventories
Uncover what’s actually being taught in your content. Inferred skills are mapped to common ESCO and ONET ontologies and can be compared with your own organization’s skills libraries to generate and output an enterprise Skills Inventory. Enables deeper analysis into content offering gaps.
Metadata Generation & Refresh
Ideal for content with missing or incomplete metadata. Uses AI-based methods to generate new titles, descriptions and meta tags for every captured digital asset, as well as produces formatted summaries and assessment questions if desired. Generated metadata is easily exported for use in other systems.
Refreshed Content
Allows teams to review and repurpose existing content items and courseware packages for future use. Standard JSON templates extracted from ingested content provide the structure needed by content authoring tools to convert, say, an ELB Lectora or Articulate Rise course into a dominKnow Claro course.
Migration Projects
Transitioning from a legacy LMS or LXP to one that better aligns with future expectations is a reality every enterprise faces at some point. MetaLark can simplify and automate the complex tasks associated with your content migration efforts using MetaLark’s native or vendor-supplied API methods.
AI Integration & Alignment
Presently, no major Large Language Model (LLM) supports the ingestion of common SCORM or xAPI packages, meaning most of your enterprise training content is unavailable for agentic AI interactions. MetaLark allows 3rd party LLMs/Agents to connect directly to parsed resources for remote AI requests.
